3 part Theme of Al-Baqarah

Hear no, Speak no, See No evil.
DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND

This is a repeated theme throughout Surah Baqarah

[2.2] That is a Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil).

Visually "THAT is a book" BLIND

[2.3] Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them.

Signifying Heart felt/faith "based on the spoken words" but about the unseen so faith is the key to understanding it.
- Faith/Heart Denying is DUMB

[2.4] And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter.

- Revelation of the words, requires reasoning rather than faith. Denying is DEAF

[2.5] These are on a right course from their Lord and these it is that shall be successful.
RIGHT COURSE

[2.6] Surely those who disbelieve, it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them, will not believe.
WRONG COURSE
(Follow there heart first)

[2.7] Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them.
PSYCHE, HEARING, SEEING

[2.8] And there are some people who say: We believe in Allah and the last day; and they are not at all believers.
PSYCHE - 1

[2.9] They desire to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive.
PSYCHE - 2

[2.10] There is a disease in their hearts, so Allah added to their disease and they shall have a painful chastisement because they lied.
 PSYCHE - 3
(Notice additional ayat is ALLAH ADDED)

[2.11] And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land, they say: We are but peace-makers.
HEARING - 1

[2.12] Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive.
HEARING - 2

[2.13] And when it is said to them: Believe as the people believe they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know.
SEEING - 1

[2.14] And when they meet those who believe, they say: We believe; and when they are alone with their Shaitans, they say: Surely we are with you, we were only mocking.
SEEING - 2

[2.15] Allah shall pay them back their mockery, and He leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
SEEING - 3
(Notice additional ayat is ALLAH ADDED)

[2.16] These are they who buy error for the right direction, so their bargain shall bring no gain, nor are they the followers of the right direction.
[2.17] Their parable is like the parable of one who kindled a fire but when it had illumined all around him, Allah took away their light, and left them in utter darkness-- they do not see.
[2.18] Deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they will not turn back.

TO explain the wrong cause I have made a table.

MUSLIM GOSPEL

Surah Marium ,19,
is actually the Gospel of Yahya, the Baptist, the son of Zackeriya. Let me explain.....

The Biblical Gospel of John is the Apostle, the son of Zabadee, not the same person as John son of Zakeriya.
Also 2 very different gospels.

The Muslim Gospel, can clearly be seen by reading the Surah 19.

 1.
Surah 19.1-11 is
how Prophet Yahya (pbuh) came to be.

2.
Surah 19.12
Is directly speaking to Prophet Yahya (pbuh)

3.
Surah 19.13-15 is a character reference of Prophet Yahya (pbuh)

4.
Surah  19.16 "And mention Marium in the book...."
is directly speaking to Prophet Yahya (pbuh)

5.
Surah 19.39 "And warn them of a day of intense regret...."
is still directly speaking to Prophet Yahya (pbuh), and so are
19.41 "And mention Ibrahim in the Book......"
19.51 " And mention Musa in the Book......"
19.54" And mention Ismail in the Book......"
19.56 "And mention Idris in the Book......"

You can even argue that as far as Surah 19.97 "we have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news" is still talking to Prophet Yahya (pbuh).

HERE'S AN IMPORTANT THEORY FOR CONSIDERATION-----------------------------------

Now to a related but different topic, In the Bible there is a character named Joseph, who marries Marium (pbuh).

In the Quran he is not mentioned at all, we agree to this.

There is only a handful of occurances of this character (Joseph - husband of Mary) in the Bible, majority of the time his dreams are described. After Jesus's birth he is only described in 3rd person context.

Matthew 1:18-25, Matthew 2:19-23, Matthew 2:13-15, Luke 2:39-40

However in the Quran there is a "well made man" 19.17 who appears to Marium in Surah Marium.

"19.17 So she took a veil (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our spirit, and there appeared to her a well-made man."

In the Bible what appears to her is an angel (discription not mentioned but considered an angel)

There is next to her throughout her pregnancy in the Quran, this well made man.

"19.22 So she conceived him; then withdrew herself with him to a remote place."

The bible is very specific that Joseph, her husband assisted her, a well made man.

My point is this. Joseph, her proclaimed husband is (or could be) actually Angel of Gabriel.

Again Joseph in the bible is only mentioned as having a dream telling him to continue the marriage after the pregnancy, also having a dream to escape and to assist Mary to Bethlehem, after the birth however he is rarely mentioned.

According to the Quran, This would also explain that Joseph (or the Angel of Gabriel) would have taught the womb and Prophet Isa (pbuh) on the pregnancy the Incil and Tevrat, as proclaimed in the Bible that Isa was taught these books.

5.110 ……...AND WHEN I TAUGHT YOU THE BOOK AND THE WISDOM AND THE TAURAT AND THE INJEELl……….

He (well made man) only leaves Marium when the Prophecy begins, at his (Prophet Isa's) birth when he talks and gives her comfort and a takes a vow 19.24

The reason I mention Joseph is because the only similarity between the 4 Biblical Gospels and the Quran, is  actually Joseph, or the Angel of Gabriel.

There is also another instance in the Bible that the only link is this "well made man"
In the bible an angel who identifies himself as the angel of Gabriel visits Zakeriya to give him news of a son.
In the Quran, we see 2 instance of a repetition of sentence that quite clearly identifies that this well made man appears to Zakeriya.

"Qala Rabukki"
Surah 19.9 "....your lord says...." When with Zakeriya
Surah 19.21 "....your lord says…." When with Marium

So again we see the only similarity between the Gospels in the Bible and the Quran is this character.

Joseph being the angel of Gabriel IS JUST A POSSIBILITY.

The revelation of the contents of the Quran to Prophet Ibrahim.

-----
51.24 Has there come to you information about the honored guests of Ibrahim?
-----

So apostles come to him,
Then

-----
51.31 He said: What is your affair then, O apostles!
-----

Prophet Ibrahim asks them why they have come. The response is....

-----
51.32 They said: Surely we are sent to a guilty people,
-----

Ok so they are talking about Prophet Lut
Until we get to.....

-----
51.36. But We did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (the Muslims).
-----

This is PAST tense, like they have already been there, not that they are going there

-----
51.37 And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.
-----

PAST tense again, they have already been there,
THEN the follow ayats (till the end of the Surah) reveal something very important...

-----
51.38 And in Musa: When We sent him to Firon with clear authority.
-----

THEN THEY TELL PROPHET IBRAHIM ABOUT PROPHET MUSA, IN PAST TENSE
So prophet Ibrahim knew about Musa. The only plausible explanation of this is that this is where the contents of the book are being revealed to Prophet Ibrahim.

I believe the Quran was written from the start, it began its documentation at Prophet Musa however and ended with Prophet Muhammad.
We just keep recycling through the pages.

For "IT IS" to occur "BE" must be set in place beforehand.

The contents of the Quran is the "BE". Before existence began the book was set.

THis can be explained from many comparative ayahs

For Example

-----
27.40] One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled beside him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored.
-----

He knew the contents of the book and so could act accordingly.

Fruits of Revelation

2.4 And who believe in that which has been sent down (unzilna) to you and that which was sent down (unzilna) before you and they are sure of the hereafter.

2.22 Who made the earth a resting place for you and the heaven a canopy and (Who) sends down (anzala) water from the cloud, then brings forth there in (of) the fruits; therefore do not set up rivals to Allah while you know.

2.23 And if you are in doubt as to that which We have sent down (nazzalna) to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it and call on your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful.

2.25 And convey good news to those who believe and do good deeds, that they shall have gardens in which rivers flow; whenever they shall be given a portion of the fruit thereof, they shall say: This is what was given to us before; and they shall be given the like of it, and they shall have pure mates in them, and in them, they shall abide.

-------

The fruits are not only visible actual fruits but as stated in 2.4, it is also revelation.

The Mosquito parable and the future scientific break through

2.26 Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable-- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors.
-----

Where does Allah give a parable of a gnat in the Quran?
The preceding verses explain how gnats are attracted to light. When you read the ayats with the gnat involved and how they react to light.

-----
2.17 Their parable is like the parable of one who kindled a fire, but when it had illumined all around him, Allah took away their light, and left them in utter darkness-- they do not see.

2.20 The lightning almost takes away their sight; whenever it shines on them they walk in it, and when it becomes dark to them they stand still; and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have taken away their hearing and their sight; surely Allah has power over all things.
-----

There is one unidentified possible scientific importance to this parable as well. It comes with the inbetween ayats.

-----
2.18-19 Deaf , dumb (and) blind, so they will not turn back.
Or like abundant rain from the cloud in which is utter darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder peal, for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the unbelievers
-----

Gnats have what is called
"Positive phototaxis" (Movement towards a light source by organisms)

It helps the gnats receive light for photosynthesis.

-----
2.18 Deaf, dumb (and) blind
-----

With light they see.
Blind - explained

With light the do an intelligent action that is extremely beneficial for them.
Dumb - explained

Quran also states Deaf.

Mosquitos tympanal organs (its "ears") are located on its antennae (on other insects could be quite literally everywhere).
They are located at base of the antennae and known as the Johnston's organ (a collection of sensory cells).

It's has been recorded to be sensitive to sounds up to 2000Hz

Could light potentially make sound at an atomic level That is beyond our hearing capability frequency, after all possess an oscillatory nature?

Sound is a mechanical phenomena, light is electromagnetic, but it possesses mass (just no rest-mass), and as such has kinetic energy. This energy imparted to other atoms could possibly make a sound.

Our increase of technology advances hopefully could prove this point but for the time being it remains a unprovable theory.
